I started writing about the influence of the Moon on our lives when I published Healers  Almanac, Wisdom from the 21st Century Goddess. In this next series of Moon Magic articles, I will bring in the Goddess of the Month and tie it into the rest of the Lunar Astrology.  Then I’ll give you a quick ritual to help you really connect with the Magic of the New and Full Moon.

A Full Moon is always about culmination, release, and illumination. The Full Moon in Leo opposes the Sun in Aquarius and this creates a dynamic polarity between your own expression and your community. But Leo is no stranger to being the eccentric one. This Full Moon wants you to express yourself and be seen! Go ahead and celebrate what you've accomplished over the last few weeks. While you’re at it, let go of all that negative self talk.

Rather than reacting with your lower instincts, choose a gentle touch and a clear mind.

This week starts the beginning of some changes coming with the four of cups. Although this isn’t an ACTION card, it is a time of self- reflection during a week that may otherwise feel a bit boring. You may be overlooking all the good things around you or those which have already transpired in a desire for more.
